About Me.
Hello! I’m Soroush Mahjoubi, born in the scenic city of Shiraz, Iran in 1991. My journey as a civil engineer began in earnest when I obtained my Master's degree from Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran in 2017. Eager to apply what I learned, I initially worked as a designer for residential buildings and participated in the rehabilitation design of schools. Feeling the pull for further growth, I moved to the US and joined Stevens Institute of Technology in 2019, where I was fortunate to complete my Ph.D. in 2023. Outside of my academic and professional life, I am a car enthusiast, enjoy being surrounded by nature, and find peace in fishing. I also dabble in computer games when time allows, and nothing beats a good comedy to lift my spirits.
