Completing My Ph.D. with Honors

I am thrilled to share that I've successfully completed my Ph.D. journey at the Stevens Institute of Technology, graduating with multiple awards. It has been an enriching and fulfilling journey, and this milestone wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of my advisor, Dr. Yi Bao, my strong pillar of support - my wife Rojyar Barhemat, and my amazing colleagues and friends at Stevens, and invaluable guidance of my Ph.D. advisory committee members, Dr. Weina Meng, Dr. Muhammad Hajj, and Dr. Yue Ning.

I am honored to have received numerous accolades in recognition of my research excellence, leadership, and potential for future success:

🏆 Richard I. Hires Research Award - An annual award for exceptional research achievements in the fields of civil, environmental, ocean, naval engineering, and construction management.

🏆 Stevens Excellence Doctoral Fellowship - Recognizes exceptional achievements in Ph.D. research and dissertation writing.

Throughout my PhD journey, I have published 9 journal papers in prestigious publications such as Resources, Conservation & Recycling (IF = 13.7), Journal of Cleaner Production (IF = 11.1), Automation in Construction (IF = 10.5), and Computer-Aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering (IF = 10.1).
