It is with immense pride and gratitude that I share this incredible news: I have been honored with not one, but three awards at the Stevens Institute of Technology Graduate Awards Ceremony! The ceremony took place on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall.
Here are the details of the awards:
1. Paul Kaplan Award for Distinguished Doctoral Work
I am deeply honored to be the recipient of the Paul Kaplan Award for Distinguished Doctoral Work. This prestigious award is named after the first Ph.D. candidate to graduate from Stevens and recognizes exemplary academic performance, excellence in research and publications, and extraordinary promise for pursuits beyond program completion. I am humbled and inspired by the recognition, and thrilled to share that the award comes with a monetary prize of $1,500.
2. Outstanding Graduate Student Leader
Engaging in student organizations and volunteer activities has been a cornerstone of my experience at Stevens. The Outstanding Graduate Student Leader award is presented for outstanding student leadership in student organizations or volunteer activities, and it recognizes students who have excelled in student life. I am thrilled to be acknowledged for my contributions to the vibrant community at Stevens.
3. Ph.D. Peer Mentor Award
Being a part of the Ph.D. Peer Mentor Program has been an enriching experience. I am overjoyed to receive the Ph.D. Peer Mentor Award, which is presented for outstanding student leadership and mentorship. It fills me with pride to know that my efforts to foster a supportive and collaborative environment for my peers have been recognized.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Office of Graduate Student Life and the Office of Graduate Education at Stevens Institute of Technology for these awards.
