Presentation at the Third International Interactive Symposium on UHPC

Jun 5, 2023

AI-driven Innovations in Ultra-High Performance Concrete

I am ecstatic to announce that our revolutionary research on Sustainable Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) was presented at the Third International Interactive Symposium on UHPC. The prestigious event was held at the historic Hotel Du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware. My esteemed co-author, Dr. Weina Meng, presented our work in the "Sustainable UHPC" symposium, which was moderated by Dr. Luca Sorelli.

Our presentation focused on our recently published paper:

Mahjoubi, S., Barhemat, R., Meng, W., & Bao, Y. (2023). AI-guided auto-discovery of low-carbon cost-effective ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC). Resources, Conservation and Recycling, 189, 106741. Read the full paper.

This research explores how artificial intelligence can be harnessed to automatically discover low-carbon, cost-effective UHPC. Through AI-guided auto-discovery, our research can pave the way for more sustainable and efficient construction practices that align with global environmental goals.

For those who are interested, the extended abstract of our presentation is available online here: Extended Abstract.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Weina Meng for representing our team and delivering an outstanding presentation.

Stay tuned for more updates on our research and future collaborations!
